Vail Resorts

Leisure tourists who previously favored budget hotels are increasingly booking package deals to resorts across Vail. Luxurious, well-appointed boutique resorts are outdoing the once-popular hotels at the premier ski resort. In such a radically changing market, hitherto relaxed hotels find themselves seeking new customers as a host of premier resorts lure the leisure traveller.

The European-styled Sonnenalp Resort is an attractive option. The rooms have a wide variety of configurations, including some that are perfect for families.

Stucco walls and wood beams call to mind the lodges of Austria, and the heated marble floors in the large bathrooms add a touch of class. Some rooms have fireplaces. The resort features ninety suites, two restaurants (Bully Ranch and Ludwig's), in-room data ports, indoor pool, health club, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, and a spa.

Marriott Vail Mountain Resort is just 200 yards from the Lionshead gondola. Complimentary transportation...

Las Vegas Vacations

Las Vegas is a tourist destination like no other. Offering thrilling attractions of theme parks, museums, wildlife parks, roller coasters and volcanoes, holidays in the Sin City of Vegas are like no other.

As often as one thinks about it, nothing prepares the eyes for that first glimpse of Vegas. The skyline seems super real with the amalgam of the Statue of Liberty, a giant lion, a sphinx; and the brightness of the buildings and glittering neon all over can cause a headache or reduce one

Here, the hotels are the attraction.

Then, there is the main attraction: the casinos with their gambling tables, the shouts from the slot machines, dancing showgirls, and the general chaos that can either put one in a state of seventh heaven or the last hole of...

How to Rent a Car, Without the Headaches

People like to try things before they buy them; cars are no exception to this rule. Trying a car out before you buy it is even more important when you consider the amount of money spent on one and the time spent in one. A great many dealers will let prospective car buyers test drive a car over night, but is that really enough time to decide if you want to buy it? If not, you may want to consider your option to rent a car for a short period of time.

You will want to ask about any special instructions that are required of you while renting the car, for example, filling up the gas tank or pick up and drop off times. Not adhering to these policies can result in fees.

The rental company may offer you insurance to purchase, however, your personal auto insurance may be all you need in the event of an accident with a rental car.

Call your auto insurance agent and ask before paying extra at the rental counter.

When you call, be sure to ask...
